Trivial exercise : implementing a stopwatch in xamarin forms.

Ok, here i am with the same question proposed in another 3d.
I need to implement a simple stopwatch for android and ios (windows too).
My stopwatch (chronograph) has to count time even if application is not in foreground.
It needs to go even if screen is turned off due to battery saving settings of the device.
Another words i need to implement an heavy duty chronograph.

I've tried with device.startimer. Within simulator it goes like a charm but on android device, after a minute
(depending on device settings) screen is turned off. Aplication continues to run approx for 40 seconds and then....
it goes to sleep.

As said in another 3d, i'd like to know how to manage this problem with my hands and i'm not happy to use AdvancedTimer.
Does anybody need the same thing in this forum?

I think this is a real world problem and i think that a big framework like Xamarin must achieve these needs.

Thanks in advance
Alessandro
