Hi All,
I am trying to use a custom font (material font icons from https://materialdesignicons.com/) in my Xamarin Forms Project but its showing as a question mark icon in my iOS porject even though in android it works fine so I suspect something is not setup correctly in my iOS project to use custom fonts.
My setup is as follows and I followed this link https://montemagno.com/using-font-icons-in-xamarin-forms-goodbye-images-hello-fonts/ to setup the Material Font icons in my project. I also looked into this link to try figure out as well how to add custom fonts https://www.c-sharpcorner.com/blogs/xamarin-ios-custom-fonts and no luck.
In my iOS project I have the font in Resource/Fonts:
Properties is for the ttf file is, wasnt sure if it should be Always copy or Do not copy but I think Ive tried both
in the info.plist i have it in there as well for fonts:
Then in my app.xaml I have in the ResourceDictionary:
Then finally in the ViewCell where I am trying to use the file it looks like this:
On the app it looks like this:
This is giving giving me a headache, any help appreciated why this wouldnt be working?
